Woods enters Buick Classic

HARRISON, N.Y. (AP) — Tiger Woods, winner of four of his last five starts on the PGA Tour and the year's leading money-winner, has officially entered the Buick Classic to be held June 21-24 at Westchester Country Club.

Woods recently had said the tournament was on his schedule, but his participation wasn't confirmed until Thursday by Tony Derhake, executive director of golf for Buick.

In Woods' last tournament, he won the Memorial, becoming the first player to win a PGA event three years in a row since Tom Watson won the Byron Nelson from 1978-80.

Joining Woods at the Buick Classic will be Justin Leonard, New Zealand's Justin Campbell and defending champion Dennis Paulson.

Paulson defeated David Duval last year in a four-hole playoff for his first PGA Tour title.
