Tiger Woods, of the
United States, tees off from the 13th during the first round of
the American Express Championship at Mount Juliet Golf Course,
in Thomastown, Ireland, Thursday Sept 19, 2002. Woods has never
had much success in the Ryder Cup. With $1 million on the line
against the best players in the world, it's a different story.
Despite missing the fairway on all the par 5s, Woods still set
the course record with a 7-under 65 that gave him a one-stroke
lead.
