Abilene Junior eliminated, 6-1
WACO - San Antonio McAlister Park eliminated Abilene Junior
from the Junior League state tournament with a 6-1 win Monday
morning.
McAlister Park scored all of its runs in the fifth inning,
overcoming a 1-0 lead Abilene had established in the fourth inning.
Abilene scored its only run when Jeremy Soliz came home on
an error and a groundout.
McAlister Park scored its six runs on just two hits in the
decisive fifth and managed just three for the game.
